Play Deathrack Online
Pick a rusty death machine, dodge missiles while trading paint, and pray your engine lasts longer than the other guy’s—upgrades come from wrecking, not winning.

Deathrack came out in 1989 for MS-DOS, published by Activision. It was part of that wave of early PC games that tried to push what the hardware could do, focusing on fast action and competitive play rather than deep story or complex graphics. It fit right in with other titles of the era that prioritized quick reflexes and straightforward goals.
You control a futuristic car armed with weapons, racing against other vehicles on twisting, hazardous tracks. The main objective is to survive each race and destroy your opponents before they take you out. Signature mechanics include collecting power-ups scattered on the track to repair damage or upgrade weapons, and a combat system that requires precise aiming while managing your speed and position. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty is high, demanding sharp reflexes and strategic use of limited resources. It feels tense and aggressive, like a high-speed duel where every mistake costs you.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
