Game Overview

Deathrack is a futuristic combat racing game for MS-DOS that blends high-speed competition with brutal vehicular combat. Set in a dystopian America, players start with a modest budget to choose one of three specialized cars: The Hellcat (speed-focused), The Crusher (firepower-heavy), or The Pitbull (armor-reinforced). Races unfold across 10 tracks where opponents—rendered in 16-color digitized photos—use weapons and aggression to eliminate you. Victory demands either crossing the finish line first or being the last car standing.

Earnings from races fund upgrades, with three tiers of enhancements for weapons, armor, and parts, allowing players to tailor their vehicle into a dominant force. Notable for its early 3D polygonal graphics and ruthless gameplay, Deathrack captures the gritty, high-stakes spirit of 1990s vehicular combat games, offering a mix of strategy and chaotic action.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
