Signature mechanics include managing your air supply in flooded sections, using a targeting reticle to aim your weapons precisely at mutated creatures, and solving environmental puzzles to progress. The pacing is deliberate, often tense, as you backtrack through dimly lit areas unsure of what might be waiting.
