Game Overview

Dengeki Big Bang is a Japan only Nintendo Entertainment System release from 1991, developed by Aicom and published by Yonezawa PR21. It arrived late in the NES lifecycle, a time when developers were still finding new ways to push the hardware with fast paced, complex action games.

You control a small, agile robot navigating side scrolling industrial stages filled with enemy machines. Your main goal is simply to survive and advance, destroying everything in your path. Your primary attack is a short range punch, but you can also perform a screen clearing bomb attack when your meter is full. The game is notoriously difficult, with enemies swarming from all directions and demanding quick reflexes. It feels like a constant, frantic scramble against overwhelming odds.
