Ever played a game so simple it shouldn’t be fun—but somehow you can’t stop? That’s Diamaze. It’s just you, a cursor (or sometimes a little diamond), and a maze full of dead ends and sneaky traps. The first few levels trick you into thinking "Oh, this is easy," and then suddenly you’re staring at the screen, muttering curses at a particularly cruel corner.
The graphics are barebones even for MS-DOS, but that’s part of the charm. No distractions, just pure maze-solving tension. And that sound when you finally reach the exit? Weirdly satisfying. It’s the kind of game you’ll lose an hour to without realizing it.
If you miss the days when games didn’t hold your hand, this one’s a perfect little time warp. Just don’t blame me when you get stuck on level 12 for way too long.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
