Play Dice Online

You hit a key, dice clatter across a black screen, and suddenly you're obsessed with chasing snake eyes or that elusive double six. It's strangely satisfying in its simplicity—just you, some pixels, and the roll.

Game Overview

Dice was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation of simple, early PC titles that captured the spirit of computing in the 1980s. It was a straightforward digital adaptation of a familiar physical game, designed for quick sessions when you had a few minutes to spare. There was no grand publisher attached; it felt like something a hobbyist might have put together to demonstrate what a computer could do beyond spreadsheets and word processing.

You don't control a character; you control the roll. The objective is simple: you press a key to throw virtual dice, hoping for a specific combination or just watching the results play out. The core mechanics involve random number generation displayed as dice faces, with options to roll one die or two, and sometimes to set a target number. The pacing is immediate, with no delay between commands and outcomes, and the difficulty is entirely based on chance. It feels like a quiet, almost meditative test of luck, a digital version of idly shaking dice in your hand before a throw.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
