You switch between riding different dinos—zipping on a raptor, smashing walls with a T-Rex, or just flying past trouble with a pterodactyl. It’s pure, chaotic SNES weirdness.

Game Overview

Dino City is one of those weird, wonderful SNES games that makes you wonder how it even got made. You play as Timmy, a kid who somehow ends up in a world where dinosaurs are basically your ride-or-die squad. One minute you're bouncing around with a pterodactyl, the next you're bulldozing through rocks on the back of a triceratops—it's chaotic in the best way.

The slingshot feels a little underpowered at first (why can't this kid just get a proper weapon?), but once you start switching between dinos mid-level, the whole thing clicks. The raptor handles like a speed demon, the T-Rex smashes everything in sight, and the pterodactyl... well, let's just say platforming gets a lot easier when you can fly over the annoying bits.

It's got that early '90s charm—bright colors, goofy enemy designs, and a soundtrack that somehow makes stomping through jungles feel epic. Not gonna lie, some of the later levels get brutal, but the sheer absurdity of riding a stegosaurus through a volcano keeps you coming back. If you ever rented Joe & Mac as a kid and wished it had more dinosaurs and less caveman humor, this is your weird little dream game.
