Disney's Bonkers came out for the Sega Genesis in 1994, developed by Capcom. It was one of those licensed platformers that felt pretty common at the time, built around a cartoon property that had a brief moment in the sun. You don't hear much about it now, but it had a certain charm if you were into that era's Disney afternoon shows.

You control Bonkers, a cartoon cop, through a series of side scrolling stages. Your main goal is to arrest enemies by hitting them with thrown donuts until they're stunned, then cuffing them before they recover. You also break open crates to find items, avoid environmental hazards, and occasionally play through some odd mini game segments, like defusing bombs or building brick barriers. The pace is fairly quick, though some stages drag with repetitive enemy patterns. It feels like a straightforward, slightly janky cartoon romp that doesn't overstay its welcome.
