Game Overview

Dizzy Dice is one of those simple but weirdly addictive Amiga gambling games. You start with some cash and pull the lever on a digital fruit machine—cherries, bells, the usual suspects. When you hit a combo, you’ve got to decide: take the money or risk it for a bigger payout. I always tell myself I’ll quit while ahead, but then the dice game pops up and suddenly I’m guessing higher or lower like I’ve got some kind of system (I don’t).

There’s a second mode where you’re trying to break the bank, starting with $20 and working your way up. The keyboard controls are straightforward, though I’ve mashed the wrong button more than once when the tension got high. It’s the kind of game where you lose track of time, muttering “one more spin” until your virtual wallet’s empty.
