Game Overview

Doraemon - Nobita No Kyouryuu is one of those weirdly charming DS games where you get to mess around with dinosaurs alongside Nobita and his robotic cat buddy. The time-travel premise is classic Doraemon—expect lots of goofy gadgets, some light puzzle-solving, and running away from very pixelated T-Rexes.

The controls take a minute to get used to (why does Nobita move like he’s wading through jelly?), but once you’re past that, it’s oddly satisfying to dig up fossils or use Doraemon’s gadgets to sneak past dino encounters. The chunky, colorful sprites give it that early DS era charm—not exactly cutting-edge, but full of personality.

If you grew up with the series or just want a low-stakes adventure with some light platforming, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t expect Jurassic Park levels of realism.
