You’ve got all the classic DBZ characters—Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, even weird deep cuts like Android 18—and they all handle differently. The story mode’s fun because it follows the usual sagas but then throws in wild "what if?" scenarios (what if Gohan went full rage mode against Cell early? Stuff like that).

Fights are fast, with aerial combos and beam struggles that feel straight out of the anime. The touch controls aren’t just a gimmick—swapping characters mid-battle by tapping the screen actually matters, especially when you pull off a team attack. They ditched the RPG leveling from the first game, so now you unlock fighters by earning Dragon Points, which keeps things simple.

It’s not the deepest fighter out there, but nailing a perfect Kamehameha or seeing Vegeta’s Final Flash wipe out half the screen never gets old. If you ever wanted to recreate those over-the-top DBZ battles on the go, this is still one of the best ways to do it.
