Dreadnoughts is one of those forgotten 32X gems—a clunky but weirdly addictive naval strategy game where you command massive battleships in slow, methodical sea battles. The controls take a minute to get used to (this is a 32X game, after all), but there’s something satisfying about lining up a perfect broadside shot and watching an enemy cruiser explode into pixelated flames.

Don’t expect modern pacing—turns out maneuvering a dreadnought isn’t exactly a fast process—but if you’ve got patience for its old-school tactical pacing, it’s got a strange charm. Just watch out for torpedo boats; those little jerks will ruin your day if you ignore them.

Synchro Man’s crack means you can actually play it without tracking down a physical copy, which is nice since the 32X library was… let’s say "selective."
