Dstroy came out in 1995 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Fully Bugged Software. It was one of those shareware titles you'd find on a floppy disk or a multi-game CD, a product of its time when small teams could put out a game with a clear, if sometimes janky, vision. It doesn't try to be an epic; it's just a straightforward action game built for quick sessions on a DOS machine.

You control a small, blocky spaceship tasked with clearing every enemy from each single-screen arena. The core loop is simple: you fly around, firing your default laser to destroy foes and avoid their slow but persistent bullet patterns. Key mechanics include collecting temporary power-ups that drift into the playfield, like spread shots or brief invincibility, and navigating the tight, maze-like walls that define each stage. The pacing is relentless; hesitation means death, and the difficulty spikes sharply after the first few stages. It feels like a tense, claustrophobic dance where every move has to be deliberate.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
