Game Overview
Man, Dstroy takes me back—those chunky MS-DOS pixels, the frantic dodging between enemy fire, and that sweet, sweet explosion when you finally clear a screen. It’s one of those games where you boot it up, and within seconds, you’re already in the thick of it: weaving through bullets, grabbing whatever power-ups you can, and praying you don’t get cornered. No tutorials, no hand-holding—just you, a joystick (or keyboard if you’re brave), and a whole lot of things trying to kill you.
It’s got that same chaotic energy as Smash TV, but with a rougher, almost homemade feel. The first time I played, I died embarrassingly fast—turns out, standing still is a terrible strategy. But there’s something weirdly satisfying about memorizing enemy patterns and finally making it past that one brutal wave. If you dig retro shooters that don’t mess around, this one’s a time capsule worth cracking open.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
