Game Overview

Dungeon Maker is one of those weird little DS gems that never got enough love. You start by sketching out dungeon rooms on the bottom screen—drawing walls, placing traps, and dropping in monsters like some kind of sadistic architect. At first, I just made simple hallways with goblins, but after a few tries, I got way too into designing elaborate death traps with spinning blades and hidden pitfalls.

The best part? Watching adventurers stumble through your creations. They’ll trigger your traps, fight your monsters, and sometimes just stand there looking confused (which, honestly, feels like a personal insult). You can tweak the difficulty too—add too many skeletons early on, and nobody makes it past the first room. Took me a while to find the right balance between "challenging" and "absolutely cruel."

If you ever wanted to play both dungeon master and frustrated game designer at the same time, this is your chance. Just don’t be surprised when you spend an hour perfecting a single room.
