Dynasty Warriors DS - Fighter's Battle is basically the same chaotic, screen-filling action you'd expect from the series, but squeezed onto the tiny DS screen. You pick a warrior—Lu Bu if you want to steamroll everything, or someone less OP if you actually want a challenge—and dive into battlefields swarming with hundreds of enemies. The touchscreen lets you pull off special moves with quick swipes, which sounds gimmicky but actually works surprisingly well mid-combo.
It’s not as deep as the console versions, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about carving through entire armies during your morning commute. The AI isn’t exactly brilliant—most grunts just stand there waiting to be hit—but the boss fights can get intense when three officers gang up on you at once. If you’ve ever wanted to relive the Three Kingdoms era with slightly janky DS graphics, this does the job.
