Game Overview
Okay, so this is the Game Boy Color version of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, and honestly? It's way better than that Atari 2600 disaster. You're basically trying to help E.T. build his communicator to call home while dodging scientists, traps, and weirdly aggressive wildlife (seriously, why are the raccoons so vicious?).
You switch between controlling E.T. and Elliott—E.T. can levitate objects (handy for puzzle-solving), while Elliott's faster on his feet. The puzzles get pretty creative, like figuring out how to distract guards or trade items with other kids in the clubhouse. Some solutions aren't obvious at first, but that's part of the fun.
There are three ways to play: just explore, follow the main story, or tackle random encounters. And yeah, it's tough—even on "easy," those scientists don't mess around. But when you finally piece together that communicator? Feels good, man.
