Game Overview
Earthly Delights is that weird little MS-DOS text adventure you wish you'd found sooner. Within minutes, you're typing commands at a sentient teapot or trying to bribe a bureaucrat with imaginary currency—it's got that same offbeat charm as old Infocom games, but with way more surreal humor. The puzzles don't always make sense (in the best way), and half the time you're not sure if you're solving them correctly or just stumbling into the next absurd scenario.
What I love is how it commits to the bit—no tutorials, no apologies, just a straight-faced delivery of nonsense like negotiating with a bridge made of spoons. It's definitely not for everyone, but if you miss when games had this much personality crammed into plain text, it's like unearthing a time capsule from 1992. Bring a notepad for the puzzles, and maybe a drink for when the game deadpans something ridiculous at you.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
