Play Eco-Saurus Online
You play as Zug the dinosaur, cleaning up trash on Eco Island—sorting bottles, dodging hazards, and listening to those gloriously terrible Sound Blaster voice clips.

Eco-Saurus came out in 1991 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, published by First Byte. It was one of those educational titles from the era that tried to blend learning with simple arcade-style action, aimed at younger players who were just getting comfortable with a keyboard and a VGA monitor.
You control a small dinosaur tasked with cleaning up a polluted island by moving screen by screen, picking up scattered pieces of trash while avoiding environmental hazards like oil slicks or falling rocks. The main objective is to clear each area completely before moving on, sorting certain items into correct bins when required. The pacing is methodical, and the difficulty comes from avoiding enemies and managing your limited time or health, depending on the level. It feels like a straightforward, slightly repetitive chore given life through colorful graphics and simple sound effects.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
