Game Overview
Electroman is this weird little MS-DOS gem from '93 where you play as a dude who looks suspiciously like Robocop, except he shoots electricity instead of bullets. The first level throws you right into it—you’re running through some industrial zone, zapping robots and hopping on teleporters that warp you to weird places. The controls are stiff in that classic DOS way, but once you get used to it, there’s something satisfying about upgrading your weapon and watching enemies explode into pixelated sparks.
Fun fact: It originally launched in Poland as "Electro Body" with some janky CGA graphics before Epic picked it up. The whole thing feels like a fever dream—eight levels of neon VGA chaos, and honestly, the soundtrack slaps harder than it has any right to. You can tell the devs had fun with it, even if some of the platforming makes you want to throw your keyboard.
It’s freeware now, so no excuses not to give it a shot if you’re into retro weirdness. Just don’t expect it to go easy on you.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
