Empire Deluxe - Demo came out in 1993 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Bob Rakosky and published by New World Computing. It was a time when turn-based strategy games were finding their footing on home computers, offering a more methodical alternative to the action titles that dominated the era.

You control a variety of military units, from infantry and tanks to ships and planes, moving them across a grid-based map to capture cities and eliminate enemy forces. The main objective is to conquer every enemy city on the map while protecting your own. Key mechanics include fog of war, which hides enemy movements until you scout the area, and combined arms tactics where unit types counter each other in a rock-paper-scissors dynamic. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
