Game Overview
Enduro Racer on the Sega Master System is one of those old-school bike racers where you’re constantly fighting the clock—and the terrain. You’ll be weaving through traffic, launching off ramps, and praying you don’t wipe out on a patch of dirt or sand. The faster you finish, the more cars you overtake, and those points actually matter—they let you upgrade your bike for the next race.
The tracks change things up, from beaches to deserts, and each one has its own annoying hazards that’ll send you flying if you’re not careful. The trick is figuring out the best path to shave off seconds, because every overtake counts. The Japanese version got the better deal, though—it has five extra tracks, including a brutal snow level littered with rocks on a narrow road. Plus, it actually shows your progress on a map after each race, which the international version weirdly skips.
It’s simple, but there’s something satisfying about nailing a perfect run and barely squeezing past the finish line in time.
