Play Espionage Online
Creeping through pixelated Soviet bases with guards that spot you if you blink too loud—half the time you’re just testing which doors actually open. Nail a silent run and it feels like cheating death.

Game Overview
Espionage on MS-DOS is that perfect mix of tense and janky—the kind of game where you'll save-scum like crazy because one wrong step means getting spotted by a guard with the reaction time of a caffeinated mongoose. The top-down view makes every hallway feel like a death trap, and those chunky pixels somehow make the stealth more stressful (in a good way).
You start off with basically a paperclip and a dream, sneaking past patrols that somehow hear you breathing from three rooms away. Half the fun is figuring out which doors actually open and which are just decorative—turns out that "realistic" 90s game design meant a lot of trial and error. But when you finally pull off a clean infiltration without alerting the entire Soviet army? Pure dopamine.
It's got that weird retro charm where the hacking minigame is just mashing keys until something happens, and the "stealth" mostly involves memorizing guard patterns through sheer repetition. If you miss the era when games didn't hold your hand and occasionally broke your spirit, this one's a nostalgia trip with actual gameplay depth under all its clunkiness. Just don't blame me when you start seeing pixelated guard uniforms in your dreams.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
