Game Overview

Eternam is this weird, ambitious MS-DOS mashup that feels like two different games crammed into one. Outside, you're wandering islands in first-person mode, blasting flying reptiles with the space bar—kinda janky, but there's something charming about the low-poly creatures dive-bombing you. Then you step into a building, and suddenly it's a 2D point-and-click adventure, except... no mouse. You're stuck cycling through action icons with keyboard commands, which takes some getting used to.

The game does this odd thing where it draws a glowing line between you and any interactive object, so at least you're not pixel-hunting. It's got that early '90s Euro-adventure vibe—same engine as Shadow of the Comet, just before they figured out mice were a good idea. Definitely rough around the edges, but there's a weirdly immersive quality once you adjust to its quirks.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
