F-1 Grand Prix Part III on SNES is basically what you'd expect from a 90s Formula One game—fast, a little janky, and weirdly addictive once you get the hang of it. It’s got all the official 1993 season teams and tracks, but the cool part is you can mix and match drivers and engines between them. Mess around with Senna’s skills in a backmarker car and see how that goes (spoiler: still better than my driving).
They threw in some extra drivers and older season tracks too, so you can relive 1991 or 1992 if you’re feeling nostalgic. The stop-go penalties are new and honestly kind of annoying when you trigger them, but at least it keeps things semi-realistic. Just don’t expect Gran Turismo-level polish—this is pure arcade racing with that classic SNES charm.
