Play F-19 Stealth Fighter Online
Pilot a stealth fighter on covert missions, navigate enemy territory, photograph targets, and avoid detection to complete your objectives and return safely.
F-19 Stealth Fighter came out in 1988, developed and published by MicroProse for MS-DOS. It was one of those serious military sims from the era, demanding patience and precision rather than flashy action. You weren't just playing a game; you were learning procedures, studying maps, and feeling the weight of a single, costly mistake.
You control a pilot flying covert missions deep behind enemy lines, often over the Soviet Union. The main objective is to complete your assigned mission, like photographing a secret facility or destroying a key target, and make it back to base alive. Signature mechanics include managing your radar signature to stay invisible, switching cockpit views to monitor threats and systems, and manually entering coordinates for navigation and weapons. The pacing is slow and deliberate, with long stretches of tension broken by moments of sheer panic when you're detected. It feels like a high stakes game of hide and seek where you are always one wrong move from being found.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
