Balloon Fight was part of Nintendo's Famicom Mini series for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, a collection of updated NES titles. It was a straightforward port, a simple arcade style game from an era where high scores and quick reflexes were the main goals.

You control a character with two balloons, using the A button to flap and gain height. The main objective is to pop the balloons of enemy fighters while avoiding birds, electric zappers, and the water below. The signature mechanics are the precise flapping to control your ascent and the risk of popping enemy balloons from above or below. The pacing is frantic, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as the screen fills with more hazards. It feels like a constant, tense struggle against gravity and bad timing.
