Ever wanted to run your own farm without the blisters and early mornings? Farm Life on the DS lets you do just that—minus the sunburn. You start with a patch of land, some basic tools, and a whole lot of weeds. The first thing I did was plant a few rows of turnips (because they grow fast and I’m impatient), then immediately regretted not checking the weather forecast when a storm rolled in.

It’s got that classic farming sim feel—tending animals, expanding your land, selling produce at the market—but with the DS touchscreen making things like watering crops or milking cows way more satisfying than just pressing buttons. The graphics are simple but cute, and there’s something weirdly addictive about watching your scrappy little farm slowly turn into something actually profitable. Just don’t forget to feed the chickens, or they’ll give you the silent treatment.
