Game Overview

Finding Nemo on the GBA is one of those rare movie tie-ins that actually gets it right. You start off as Marlin, frantically swimming through the reef after Nemo gets scooped up—and yeah, the panic feels real when you're dodging jellyfish tentacles or getting chased by that creepy anglerfish in the dark. The controls are simple (just swim, dash, and talk to other fish), but some levels really make you think, like when you're Nemo trying to clog the dentist's tank filter with pebbles.

What surprised me was how well they translated the movie's humor into little gameplay moments. Dory randomly forgets objectives mid-mission, and the tank gang actually has you doing weird mini-games to prove you're "fish enough" to join them. The pixel art holds up too—the Great Barrier Reef levels have this nice shimmer effect that makes the water feel alive. It's short, sure, but way more charming than most licensed games from that era. If you ever wanted to yell "Just keep swimming!" at your GBA, this is your chance.
