Fire & Forget 2 came out in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, developed and published by Titus Interactive. It was one of those early vehicular combat games that tried to push what a home computer could do with fast action and a gritty sci-fi setting, fitting right in with the era's taste for post-apocalyptic themes and arcade-style challenges.

You control an armed futuristic car, speeding through hazardous highways while engaging enemy vehicles with mounted machine guns and limited missiles. The main goal is to survive each stage, destroying opponents and avoiding obstacles like barricades or environmental debris. Signature mechanics include managing your weapon systems, which overheat if fired continuously, and navigating tight, winding roads that demand quick reflexes. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty ramps up sharply, especially when dealing with aggressive enemy patterns and limited ammo. It feels like a tense, high-speed struggle where one wrong move can end your run abruptly.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
