Play Firemen, The (Europe) (En,Fr,De) Online
You and a buddy scramble through a burning high-rise—one sprays the hose while the other drags survivors out, and if you don’t work fast, the whole place collapses in pixelated flames.

Firemen on the SNES is this weirdly intense little game where you play as two firefighters trying to save people from a burning skyscraper. The whole thing plays out in real-time—you're running through smoky hallways, dodging collapsing ceilings, and spraying down flames that somehow get bigger if you ignore them. Some of the fires even act like boss fights, which sounds ridiculous until you're desperately backtracking to find an extinguisher refill while the screen fills with pixelated smoke.
What's cool is the co-op—one player controls the hose while the other carries victims, and you actually need to coordinate or you'll both just stand there like idiots while the building burns down. The pixel art holds up, especially the way the fire spreads realistically. Just don't expect deep storytelling; your entire motivation is literally "building on fire, go."
It’s one of those mid-90s games that’s janky in places but weirdly gripping once you get into it.
