Frantic Flea came out for the Super Nintendo in 1996, published by GameTek. It was one of those late-era SNES games that tried something a little different, with a weird concept and fast-paced action that stood out even as the system's library was winding down.

You control a flea equipped with a jetpack, bouncing off walls and ceilings while shooting enemies like giant noses and floating brains. The main goal is to rescue other fleas trapped in bubbles, screen by screen, across themed levels. Your movement is physics-based and bouncy; you ricochet around constantly, firing your weapon and trying not to get hit. It's a challenging game because the controls take some getting used to, and the screen fills with projectiles and odd enemies quickly. Playing it feels like trying to control a hyperactive pinball with a gun.
