Game Overview

Frantic Freddie is one of those classic Amiga PD games that feels like it was made in someone's basement—in the best way possible. You play as Freddie, a phone line repair guy (weird job for a hero, but okay) who's gotta grab pots of gold while these little gremlin things called Greeblies chase him around. The controls are simple—just joystick left and right—but those Greeblies get sneaky fast.

First level lulls you into thinking it's easy, then suddenly there are three of them herding you into corners. The gold pots are obvious, but the real trick is snagging the bonus items without getting mobbed. Lose all your lives, and it's back to the start—no saves, just pure '80s-style punishment. It's janky, kinda unfair, and weirdly addictive once you get the rhythm.

Honestly, half the fun is laughing at how ridiculous it is that a telephone guy is running from rainbow-colored monsters. But you'll keep playing anyway.
