Play Front Mission (U)(XenoPhobia) Online

Tinkering with your mech's loadout before battle, then watching your choices play out on grid-based maps where positioning means everything—mess up and that sniper you left exposed gets shredded. The war drama between missions hits just as hard as the combat.

Game Overview

Front Mission on the DS is one of those games that makes you feel like a mech commander from the first mission. You're thrown into this war-torn future where every decision matters—whether it's tweaking your Wanzers' loadouts before battle or choosing which ally to cover when enemy fire starts raining down.

The customization is ridiculous in the best way. I spent way too long obsessing over whether to swap out my sniper's rifle for a grenade launcher, only to realize mid-battle that I'd left the poor guy defenseless at close range. The grid-based combat feels weighty, like chess if the pieces could explode.

What surprised me was how much the political drama pulled me in between missions. One minute you're negotiating with shady arms dealers, the next you're caught in a betrayal that actually makes you pause and rethink your whole strategy. If you like tactics games where every upgrade and dialogue choice lingers in your head long after you put the DS down, this one sticks with you.
