Game Overview
Fury of the Furries is one of those weirdly charming MS-DOS platformers where you control Tiny, this little round furball that can change colors to survive different hazards. At first, you just bounce around, but then you realize each color gives you a different power—yellow shoots fireballs, red lets you chew through walls, green swings on ropes like some kind of furry Tarzan, and blue turns you into an underwater bubble machine. The levels get pretty creative with it, forcing you to switch forms mid-jump or figure out which ability gets you past a room full of spikes.
The world’s split into eight zones, each with its own vibe—deserts, pyramids, even this creepy factory where everything looks like it wants to kill you. The music shifts too, which helps sell the whole "different worlds" thing. Some levels are pure platforming chaos, others feel like puzzles where you’re stuck staring at the screen until it clicks that, oh right, maybe I should turn green here.
It’s got that old-school difficulty where you’ll die a lot, but the checkpoints are fair. And yeah, you eventually storm a castle to fight some big bad called the Wicked One, but half the fun is just seeing what ridiculous obstacle comes next. The whole thing’s janky in that nostalgic DOS way, but once you get the hang of swapping forms, it’s weirdly satisfying.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
