Game Overview

Game & Watch Gallery Advance is basically a pocket-sized museum of Nintendo’s early days, but way more fun than staring at glass cases. You get these super simple, borderline hypnotic mini-games—like trying not to burn burgers as a frantic chef or guiding a guy up a construction site while dodging falling beams. The weird part? You’ll catch yourself muttering "one more try" after every failure.

What’s cool is each game has two versions: the original black-and-white LCD style (complete with that retro beep-boop soundtrack) and a colorful GBA remake where Mario and friends sneak into the action. The octopus one feels way less stressful when Yoshi’s handling the rescues instead of some faceless diver. It’s the kind of game you flip on for five minutes and suddenly lose half an hour to.

Honestly, the controls are so tight you’ll blame yourself instead of the game when you mess up—which happens a lot. Perfect for bus rides or pretending to listen in meetings.
