Gdleen came out for the Super Nintendo in 1991, developed by KSS. It was part of that early wave of SNES games, when developers were still figuring out what the hardware could do. The graphics and sound have that particular early 90s feel, a bit rough around the edges but full of character.

You control a hero exploring a series of dungeons, fighting monsters and hunting for keys to unlock new areas. The game uses a screen by screen exploration system; each room is a self contained challenge. Combat is simple but deliberate, relying on timing and positioning with your sword.
