Game Overview

Gekido Advance: Kintaro’s Revenge is that rare GBA brawler that actually feels like an arcade cabinet crammed into your hands. Within seconds, you're knee-deep in thugs, pulling off combos that somehow make a tiny D-pad feel responsive—launching guys into the air with uppercuts, smashing them through wooden crates, the works. The animations have this chunky, exaggerated weight to them, like every punch actually hurts.

It’s got that grimy ‘90s aesthetic too—think rain-slicked alleys and gang hideouts straight out of a late-night anime. The story’s basically an excuse to punch increasingly weird enemies (wait till you meet the claw-wielding freaks in level 3), but who cares when the combat’s this fluid? Only downside: it’s over too fast, but man, those last boss fights go hard. Perfect for bus rides when you need to vent some frustration.
