Game Overview
Gelules X4 is one of those MS-DOS games that somehow sticks in your brain—simple, colorful, and way harder than it looks at first glance. You're this little guy (or maybe a blob? honestly, it's unclear) running around grid-based levels, scooping up capsules while dodging obstacles that seem to come out of nowhere. The controls are dead simple—just arrow keys—but the levels get sneaky fast.
What I love is how it tricks you into thinking "Oh, this is easy" before slamming you with a level where every move has to be perfect. The chiptune soundtrack is weirdly catchy too—you'll be humming it after a few rounds. It's got that classic "one more try" pull, especially when you're one capsule away from clearing a stage and suddenly everything goes wrong.
If you've ever lost hours to Boulder Dash or Chip's Challenge, this feels like their slightly unhinged cousin. Just don't blame me when you're still trying to beat level 12 at 2 AM.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
