Game Overview

Germ Crazy is one of those weird, darkly funny Amiga games that sticks with you. You're a surgeon trying to save a patient from a gnarly flesh-eating virus, but the "cures" are almost as brutal as the disease—think hacking off limbs, experimental drugs, or just straight-up poisoning the poor guy to kill the infection. Mess up, and you either get a skeleton or an angry grim reaper showing up.

It plays like a messed-up medical SimCity where every decision backfires in some way. Even on easy mode, it's punishing—you'll amputate too much, overdose on drugs, or watch the virus spread while you hesitate. The grim humor keeps it from feeling too heavy, though. Definitely not for the squeamish, but weirdly addictive once you get into its messed-up rhythm.

Honestly, I still don’t know if I’ve ever actually "won."
