Gobliiins is that rare kind of puzzle game where the solutions feel like they were dreamed up by a sleep-deprived goblin with a grudge against logic. You control three little weirdos—one’s strong but dumb, one’s smart but fragile, and the third… well, he mostly just pokes things with a stick. Watching them stumble through hand-painted screens, accidentally solving problems through sheer incompetence, never gets old.
The puzzles are the real star here. You’ll combine a fish with a bell, use a sneeze as a weapon, or suddenly realize that yes, the solution does involve stacking all three goblins in a precarious tower. It’s frustrating in the best way—the kind of game where you’ll shout "That makes no sense!" right before cracking up at your own stupidity for not seeing it sooner.
Fair warning: save often. Half the fun is watching things go horribly wrong when you misclick and send your goblins careening into some new disaster. The MS-DOS era had nothing else quite like this—it’s like someone took a children’s storybook and gave it a caffeine addiction.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
