Key mechanics include shaking down store owners for protection money, engaging in third-person shootouts with competing gangs, and managing your crew's resources and respect. The pacing is aggressive, with frequent skirmishes and a steady push for expansion, though the difficulty can spike during larger confrontations. It feels like a rough, compact version of a mob life simulator, where every block taken is a small victory.
