Game Overview
Godzilla 2 on NES is basically you versus every giant monster Japan has to offer. You play as the military, scrambling to protect cities and bases while these towering beasts casually stomp through buildings like they're made of cardboard. Tanks, jets, missiles—you've got all the firepower, but good luck stopping Godzilla when he decides your defenses are just a minor annoyance.
It's chaotic in the best way. One minute you're setting up turrets, the next you're watching Mothra flatten an entire district because you took too long to react. The controls are simple, but the monsters don't play fair—just like the old movies. If you ever wanted to feel the panic of being a tiny human trying to fight off kaiju, this nails it.
