So this is that weird late-90s Godzilla game based on the TV show (which was already a spin-off of the American movie). You basically just walk right while smashing buildings and occasionally punching helicopters—classic Godzilla stuff. The sprites are chunky but kinda charming, and there’s something satisfying about plowing through pixelated skyscrapers like they’re made of cardboard.
It’s not deep—you’ve got a basic attack and a screen-clearing roar—but the enemy variety keeps it from getting stale. Military tanks, jets, even other monsters show up to ruin your urban demolition spree. The Game Boy Color’s limitations mean you won’t see any epic destruction physics, but hey, it’s still more fun than the movie deserved.
If you’re into retro licensed games or just want to stomp around as a tiny green lizard, it’s a decent time-waster. Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking.
