Game Overview
GoJoe is one of those weird little MS-DOS platformers from 1990 that somehow sticks with you. You play as this tiny dude jumping around collecting rings—nothing groundbreaking there—but the green blob enemies are just fast enough to make you panic when they show up. The controls are a bit stiff by today’s standards, but once you get the timing down, it’s oddly satisfying to bounce between platforms and barely dodge those slimy pursuers. The music’s got that classic chiptune charm, too. Not a masterpiece, but it’s got personality.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
