Gold and Glory is one of those weird little licensed games that actually turned out pretty solid—probably because the Broken Sword folks worked on it. You play as Tulio and Miguel from the movie, swapping between them to solve puzzles and sneak past guards while hunting for El Dorado. The pixel art’s surprisingly nice for a GBC game, and the dialogue’s got that same snappy back-and-forth from the film. Not gonna lie, some of the platforming bits are janky (this is a 2000s handheld game, after all), but the charm carries it. If you ever wanted more of these two con artists bumbling through jungles, here’s your fix.
