Game Overview
Gold and Glory on the Game Boy Color is basically the movie The Road to El Dorado turned into a side-scroller—you play as Tulio or Miguel, jumping around, climbing stuff, and occasionally swinging a cutlass at whatever’s trying to stop you. Most levels have you collecting random objects (sometimes important ones, like map pieces) while dodging or fighting enemies.
There’s a weird mix of action here—one minute you’re sprinting from a charging bull, the next you’re awkwardly playing what the game calls "Indian basketball" against some local champ. Boss fights pop up too, including a showdown with Cortez himself. It’s janky in that classic GBC way, but if you loved the movie, it’s a fun little nostalgia trip.
