Golden Sun (S) is one of those classic GBA RPGs that still holds up. You start as Isaac, a quiet kid from Vale who can move stuff with his mind, and before long you're thrown into this whole mess about elemental stones and rival mages trying to wreck your island.

The combat's turn-based but with a twist - you collect these little Djinni creatures that float around the world, and each one tweaks your stats or unlocks new spells. At first it's just basic fire and earth stuff, but later you're mixing elements in weird ways, like summoning tidal waves or calling down meteors.

What sticks with me is how the world opens up. Early areas feel small, just villages and caves, but eventually you're sailing between continents, solving puzzles that require specific Psynergy abilities. There's this one dungeon where you have to push blocks across gaps using mind powers, and it actually makes you stop and think.

Golden Sun (S) has that perfect balance of exploration and strategy, where even random battles feel meaningful because you're always hunting for new Djinni or testing spell combos.
