Game Overview

GP-1 Racing (prototype) is an unreleased Game Boy Advance title, a racer that exists only as a playable test build. It was developed by an unknown team, surfacing years after the GBA's prime, offering a glimpse into what might have been during the handheld's bustling library of arcade-style games.

You control a single futuristic race car, weaving through dense, aggressive traffic on winding, brightly colored tracks. The main objective is simply to survive each lap and finish the race, but the real challenge comes from managing your car's unique drift-heavy physics. Signature mechanics include a boost system that builds from clean driving and a noticeable risk-reward slide that can either shave seconds off a turn or send you spinning into a wall. The pacing is relentless; the traffic is unforgiving and seems to actively hunt you down. It feels like constantly threading a needle at 200 miles per hour.
