Game Overview
Nicktoons Racing is exactly what it sounds like—a chaotic, cartoonish kart racer where SpongeBob, Tommy Pickles, and the rest of the Nickelodeon gang try to run each other off the road. The tracks are ridiculous (one minute you're dodging logs in the jungle with the Thornberrys, the next you're sliding through Jellyfish Fields), and the power-ups are just unfair in the best way. CatDog’s tail whip attack still haunts my dreams.
You’ve got all the usual modes—single races, cups, time trials—but the real fun is linking up with a friend’s GBA and watching them scream when you hit them with a well-timed slime blast. The controls are simple enough that even my little cousin could keep up, but good luck actually winning against someone who knows the shortcuts. Just don’t pick Ren & Stimpy unless you enjoy spinning out every five seconds.
