Nicktoons Racing came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2000, published by Infogrames. It was one of those early GBA titles that tried to bring a console-style kart racer into your hands, back when portable 3D was still rough around the edges. You got to pick from a bunch of Nickelodeon characters, which was a pretty big deal if you were into shows like Rugrats or SpongeBob at the time.
You control characters like Tommy Pickles or Reptar, racing on themed tracks against other Nicktoons. The main goal is straightforward: finish first. You drift around corners to keep your speed up, and you pick up items like slime or rockets to mess with other racers. The tracks scroll by screen by screen due to hardware limits, which gives it a choppy but determined pace. It feels like a simplified, slightly janky take on Mario Kart, but there's a odd charm in seeing these characters bounce around tiny courses.
