Game Overview

GTA: Liberty City Stories on PSP is basically a pocket-sized version of the chaos you love from the console games. You start off as Toni Cipriani, a mobster trying to climb the ranks in Liberty City—same grimy streets as GTA III, just a few years earlier.

The first thing you’ll notice is how well they crammed the whole city onto a handheld. Yeah, the graphics are scaled back, but you can still steal cars, pick up prostitutes (classic GTA), and cause absolute havoc with the same dumb physics that make crashing into lampposts weirdly satisfying. Missions start simple—delivering packages, shaking down rivals—but before long you’re hijacking tanks and setting up drug deals.

What’s cool is how they tweaked it for the PSP. No second analog stick means auto-aim is your best friend, and the shorter missions actually work better for quick play sessions. Still has that janky early-2000s GTA charm, warts and all. If you’ve got nostalgia for this era of the series, it’s a solid way to relive it on the go.
